It takes a very special gift to work with the elderly and sick. During Gretchen’s two-plus years at Parkside, we met many special caregivers. Mom made many new friends and was touched by the kindness and constant gentle care she received. In mom’s last days our entire family felt the love and warmth of all those who were with us. The stream of well-wishers on that last night was touching and brought great comfort. By now you hopefully enjoyed a cookie as a small token of our appreciation. My stay at Parkside was both enjoyable and pleasant. I enjoyed meeting all of the staff and they always treated me with kindness, dignity and respect. Having the onsite convenience of the therapy department was so helpful and played a major role in getting me back on my feet so I would be ready to go home. Although only a short stay, my time at Parkside was great and I would highly recommend it to others.
